Steinway & Sons and Boston Pianos
On October 9, 2003, the University of Georgia officially became the Peachtree State's first "All Steinway School". A special concert commemorating Steinway & Sons' 150th Anniversary featured four accomplished faculty professors performing on four Steinway Pianos. At the end of the program, Vic Geiger, District Manager, Steinway & Sons, proudly presented a plaque to the school recognizing their attainment of this new rank among Georgia institutions.
Mr. Jeffery Delk, Director of Development for the University of Georgia, and several key faculty members hosted a special dinner for Mr. Geiger and the staff from Steinway Piano Galleries. It was a great opportunity to talk with them, one on one, about how important Steinway pianos are to their school. Mr. Delk sang the praises of Steinway Piano Galleries and the Steinway Piano.
